Having fun with Melting Pot & CTMH!!!

OK so my friend Connie has been talking about her "glass flowers" for weeks and I finally got to see what she was talking about....she uses the super cool Melting Pot with UTEE to dip things making them glass like and you can make pendants, etc. Here is some fun I had today using it...remember these are my first attempts...I hope to get better!!

I have also started crafting for an upcoming boutique I hope to take part in come November. Here is a notebook I designed...these sold really well last year. They have a jr. legal pad inside. Going to make a lot more of these among other things.

Close to my Heart + Cricut = WOWZA!

I am loving working with the new Cricut Art Philosphy Collection which is an exclusive CTMH cartridge + coordinating My Acrylix Stamps + coordinating Dimensional Elements. See my display board ready for my Autumn/Winter Idea Book launch tomorrow!!!

I hope folks come and pick up their very own copy of th Idea Book as it has lots of beautiful and creative art work and awesome new products.

One of my favorite things right now is making the 3D flowers. The new Cricut cartridge offers 6 of them! Here is some I've been playing with...

It truly is amazing all you can do with this one cartridge and certainly supports CTMH's vision of "discovering creativity"!

Close to my Heart Convention ~ 2011

That was me, all packed to go to the CTMH Convention at the Disneyland Resort!! What a time it was - exciting, exhausting, full of surprises and delights! Great new products coming out in our Autumn/Winter 2011 Idea Book.. I can't wait to start posting pictures...

I have lots to create for my upcoming Idea Book Launch Party ~ Customer Appreciation Day, on Saturday, August 6th.

Here is a tease of some of the new items...love this new paper pack on our new cardstock background and texture paper...and that bling - it is WOWZER! :)

Time to get this Blog worth following!!

Any one who has read this blog before....not many of you out there... will see it has personality now which makes me want to do something with it!! :)

I think I am officially ready to get my Blog On and am excited to say so. I love to write and that's just what a blog is for goodness sake!

No guarantees my posts won't be ramblings but hopefully somewhere in the mix will be some words that make you smile and ideas that inspire you.

So proud of myself!!

I totally rocked it last night... I made a super cool gift for my friend Jenn for her new beautiful baby girl Kaelynn. It is a metal sign I covered with paper and embellished to be a magnet board to post pics of Kaelynn and notes about her. I can't wait to give to Jenn!! She is one creative mama herself so I hope she loves it!!

March... a time of growth!

So I haven't been keeping up on the blog like I want to but it isn't because I don't think about it... that should count for something!! :)

I've actually been researching someone who could design a blog for me. I think if I was more proud of what I have to offer, something that was more ME then I would be doing more with it. This is just so plain and if I am going to dive in to it I want it to be perfect! So more to come on that.

I love March because living her in AZ it really is quite nice. We've been seeing a lot of rain but with that comes RAINBOWS!! I even got to see one on my birthday so that was truly a pefect day. :) The flowers are blooming, Chris and I turn a year older and we get Spring Break to enjoy it all. What more could you ask for in a month.

Hoping we are able to go to the Renaissance Festival this weekend. The rain has kept us away and it will be ending soon. I need to be taken back in time and enjoy the artisan atmosphere and outdoor activity. I think this weekend will be the one!

I just ordered a Cricut Expressions from HSN. I can't wait to receive it. It is my biggest investment yet for my papercrafting, aside from becoming a Close to My Heart independent consultant. I am curious what I can do with it and excited for the creative opportunity.
